.wav trouble

I have a wave file i would like to make my menu music, its 27mb big, it was originally mpeg4 i converted it to wav, and changed the name of it to menuamb.wav in the huntdat folder, and when i open carnivores 2 it gives me a heap allocation error. What do i do?
